Fashion & Food Help Raise Needed Funds!


Fashion and food took will take center stage at Saks Fifth Avenue Palm Beach Gardens’ 17th Annual Key To The Cure event on Wednesday, October 14 to benefit Jupiter Medical Center Foundation.  This unique culinary and shopping event typically attracts 400 guests and locally benefits the Comprehensive Cancer Program at Jupiter Medical Center.

Playing host to our area’s Key To The Cure is Michael DeSio, Vice President General Manager of the Palm Beach Gardens location, while an energetic committee is organizing the non-stop evening filled with scrumptious food and libations from area restaurant and beverage partners that to date include – 3800 Ocean, Brio Tuscan Grille, Café Chardonnay, Calaveras Cantina, DD’s Cupcake Shoppe, deep blu Seafood Grille, Ironwood Steak & Seafood at PGA National Resort & Spa, Mangrove Bay, Ocean Bleu, Sandy James Fine Food & Productions, Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, The Cooper Restaurant, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Vault 39, and Yogurtology® PGA.

The Saks Fifth Avenue Annual Key To The Cure Event is a nationwide four-day charity shopping event.  Locally the efforts and commitment of Saks Fifth Avenue and the dedication of members of our local community have resulted in the contribution of over $373,880 towards women’s cancer care and research at Jupiter Medical Center’s Cancer Center over the past 11 years!

Shopping Weekend festivities will begin with a Kick-Off Party on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 6 to 8pm, hosted by Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, the fundraising arm of Jupiter Medical Center, and Saks Fifth Avenue. During the party, each guest will receive a $25 Saks gift card to kick off their shopping while enjoying refreshing cocktails, savory bites from a host of fabulous local restaurants, live entertainment, and the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of prizes throughout the evening donated by area businesses.  Haute Couture Sponsor for the event is the Samuel J. and Connie M. Frankino Foundation; Media Sponsors include Palm Beach Illustrated and SUNNY 107.9 FM 

Come October 1, the community can purchase the popular limited-edition Key To The Cure T-shirt designed by Celebrated New York designer Jason Wu with 100% of the proceeds going to Jupiter Medical Center.
